Photo and Media Policy
Dance Radiance respects each family's choice about the use of student photos and videos.
Separate permission
Photo and media permission will be requested separately from participation, medical, payment, and studio-policy acknowledgments. A student may participate even when a parent or guardian declines promotional media permission.
Possible uses
With permission, Dance Radiance may use photos or videos in the studio website, social-media pages, printed materials, advertisements, recital or performance promotions, and other Dance Radiance communications.
Respectful use
Dance Radiance will aim to use images that are respectful, age appropriate, and consistent with the studio's standards. Student names should not be paired with public images unless the parent or guardian has specifically approved that use.
Group events
Recitals, performances, competitions, and group activities may include photography by families, venues, event organizers, or other participants. Dance Radiance cannot control every image captured by independent third parties, but the studio will honor its own records when selecting material for official Dance Radiance use.
Changing permission
A parent or guardian may contact the studio to change media permission for future use. Dance Radiance will make reasonable efforts to stop future use and remove material under its control, although previously printed material or content already shared by others may not be fully retrievable.
